Blue Sky Angling Lakestar Bait Boat

Launched in 2004 the Lakestar still goes from strength to strength. Highly regarded as the best all around bait boat on the market, the Lakestar was the first three hulled bait boat designed to carry a maximum load in either or both hoppers without affecting performance. It’s capable of carrying 2.5kg in each hopper and yet the boat is just as happy on small waters moving with precision around features and obstacles.

Andrew Kitchen, a master pattern maker by trade, which involves precision engineering and design, designs all Blue Sky Angling products. He revealed: "The Lakestar will take on any extreme weather situation having the weight stability and raw power to smash through even the roughest of conditions. All Lakestar’s are now controlled using our own handset and boat controls. Our electronics engineer Jim, who also writes the software, helps me to put the designs into motion. Now that we have full control over radio communications, hardware, software and UK manufacturing we feel that all the pieces of the jigsaw are in place to make consumers confident to buy our unique products."
